How to track if my user is sitting idle?

Idle time is the time recorded without keyboard or mouse activity and can be seen in Timesheets and Activity modules.

To view in Timesheet:

Go to Menu >>Timesheet >>view Timesheet >> Select the member name from drop down list for which idle time is to be checked >> check for idle % in the shown Timesheet data.
For example in below screenshot : Idle % shows - 100% against the time(12:00am -11:59pm) - this means user was idle all this time duration.



To view in Activity:

Go to Menu >>Activity >>Screenshot >> Select the member name from drop down list for which idle time is to be checked >> check for Average % mentioned below every screenshot.
If its says 0% of 10/5/15 mins - this means user is idle for this specific interval, as shown in below screenshot.




How To Filter Time Tracked According To Idle Time Type

STEP 1

Activity > Screenshots:



STEP 2

Click on the Filter icon button, then choose the time type as “Idle” from the Time filter dropdown.



STEP 3

Your view will now be filtered. For example, all idle time tracked will be displayed.
Visually, this is what will appear under the Screenshots section, with the filter applied. As per below, only blocks of idle activity are visible.



Similarly, this is how the filter will appear under the Timesheets section. Only periods of idle activity are displayed.

STEP 1

Timesheets > View timesheet



STEP 2

Click on the Filter icon button, then choose the time type as “Idle” from the Time filter dropdown.



STEP 3

Your view will now be filtered. For example, all idle time tracked will be displayed.

Visually, this is what will appear under the Screenshots section, with the filter applied. As per below, only blocks of idle activity are visible.
