# Can Workstatus be run without a user knowing it?

 **Question:** Can Workstatus be started without the user knowing it? Is there a silent mode?

**Answer:**    Yes,  Workstatus be run without a user knowing it. Follow below steps to achieve it.

**STEP 1**

Go to People >> Click on Employees>> Invite New Member

**STEP 2**

# You can invite Silent Users below ways .

### A) With sending Invitation mail to user

* Enter **Email- id, User Role**,  select invite mode as **Silent** , **select Send Email while inviting  from dropdown ** & Click on  **Invite** button.

Now, Check the mail received on the invited mail id >> Click  **Accept** and another email will received with zip file.

**STEP 3**

* Extract the zip file, open the folder, and double-click the Workstatus app. The app will then run automatically in the background.

App is now installed in your PC and has started to run.

### B) Without sending Invitation mail to user

**STEP 1**

* Go to People >> Click on Employees>> Invite New Member

Enter **Email- id, User Role**,  select invite mode as **Silent** ,  **Select Don't send email while inviting**  & Click on  **Invite** .

* Go to **"Employees"**  and search invited email id ,Then click on **Download Silent File** .

Once File is downloaded, Install this file in user's PC.
