When you first sign up or explore Workstatus, the system provides **sample data** to help you understand how the platform works. This data is automatically loaded so you can see what your Module Page will look like once your team starts using the system. * Sample data is **demo information** generated by Workstatus to simulate: * It's meant for **exploration and training** only. * It helps new users **visualize real usage** without requiring actual activity or employees. * At the top of your dashboard, you’ll see a yellow banner saying: "You are currently using sample data to help you explore." * There’s also a toggle to “Hide sample data”, allowing you to switch it off. * The sample data will be removed automatically once the user performs any real activity, such as creating a project, adding a task, logging time, or starting the timer using the web tracker, desktop application, or mobile app. *If you create a project while setting up your organization, you will no longer be able to view the sample data. * If you want to view the sample data during onboarding, do not create any project.
