# How List works in Everything?


# How List works in Everything?

Everything - List is a centralized module in Workstatus that displays all tasks across every project within the organization. It provides a unified view to help users track, manage, and monitor tasks from multiple projects in one place, enabling better visibility and cross-project coordination.
By offering powerful filtering and sorting capabilities, this module ensures users can quickly locate and prioritize tasks, monitor progress, and identify potential bottlenecks — all from one place.

### Roles and Permissions:

Owner/Manager/Delivery Head: They can view and perform actions on every task of every project.  
Team Lead (User): They can view tasks of their assigned projects and perform action on assigned tasks only.
Department Head (User): They can view tasks of their assigned projects and perform action on assigned tasks only.
Project Manager (User): They can view tasks of their assigned projects and perform action on them.
User role: They can view tasks of their assigned projects and perform action on assigned task only.

### How to navigate to Everything?

* Step 1: Select "Everything" from the main navigation menu.
* Step 2:  Here, you can see & access all the Tasks of every project including Tasks name, their Assignee(s) and its Start Date.

* Pagination is implemented in Task listing, at a time 15 items will be loaded. Click on "Load More" to see 15 more items.
* By default, listing will be sorted. You can select manner of sorting, it will be saved for further.

* Step 3:  In front of each task, you will see 3 dots. Click on 3 dots to perform different actions as per your roles and permissions.

* Clicking on View Task will open a drawer showing details of that Task.
* Clicking on Edit Task will open edit drawer, from there you can edit details of your Task.
* Clicking on Copy Task Link will copy View Task drawer URL. Now you can use it to directly view the task.
* Clicking on Move To Other Task List will open a dialog box showing Task Lists where you can move the selected task. You can within Task Lists of that particular project.
* Clicking on Add To Favorites will add this particular task in your favorite listing and you can directly access this task from your Favorites listing.
* Clicking on Complete Task will mark this task as completed.
* Clicking on Delete Task will delete this task from project.

* Step 4: Here, you also get options like Filters, Export and View Status.

### Everything - List > Filters:
Here's a breakdown of Everything Filters in Workstatus:

Search by: Keywords, Assignees, Created/Reported By, Worked By.
Sorting and Tagging: Tags, Sort by - Alphabetically, Created Date, Start Date, End Date and Task ID. 
Task Management: Projects, Milestone, Task List, Parent Tasks, Status, Priority, Completed %age, Is Billable, Recurring and Overbudget.
Date Filters: Due date, Overdue Date and Created At. 
View: List of saved filters.

### Everything - List > View Status:
View Status drawer shows Total count and Status-wise count of all the tasks in Everthing.

### Everything - List > Export:
Here, we get 2 options to Export the tasks, i.e. Export as PDF & Export as CSV.
