# How to control the shift hours?

##### Roles and Permissions:

**Organization Owner/Manager:**

They can control shift hours for all members of organization.

To enable minimum shift hours Go to **Settings>>Schedules>>minimum shit hours.**

Control minimum shift hours about a member. To do it on organization level, select the hours between 8hr, 9hr, 10hr.

1. Click on the **Settings** module from the left-side navigation panel.

2. Under the **Timesheet** section, click on **Minimum shift Hours**.

3. On the **Minimum shift hours** settings page, use the global settings to configure the default Minimum shift Hours for all members.

4. You can also customize the Minimum shift Hours for individual members using the available settings.

5. After making the required changes, a confirmation pop-up will appear asking, **"Are you sure you want to update these settings?"**

6. Click **Yes** to save the changes or **No** to cancel them.

7. Once the changes have been saved successfully, a success message stating **"Shift updated successfully"** will appear on the screen.
