# How to open Workstatus Desktop Application

# How to open the workstatus desktop application.

* You can open the **Workstatus Desktop** application using any of the following methods.
* **Note : Ensure that the Workstatus app is already installed before proceeding.**

### Method 1 :  Open Workstatus from the System Tray / Hidden Icons Menu.

* Use this method when opening the Workstatus Desktop application for the first time after installation.

###### **Steps:**

* Click the  **Windows Search** box on the taskbar.
* Search for **Workstatus Desktop**.

* Click **Open**.

* After clicking Open, the Workstatus icon appears in the System Tray (Hidden Icons menu).

* Click the **Show hidden icons (^)** button on the taskbar.

* Click the **Workstatus** icon to open the application.

**Note:** The first time you open the application after installation, it will appear in the **System Tray / Hidden Icons Menu**.


### Method 2: Open  Workstatus to the Taskbar

###### **Steps:**

* Click the Start button or the Windows Search box.
* Search for **Workstatus Desktop**.

* Select **Pin to taskbar**.

* The **Workstatus** icon will be added to the Windows taskbar.

* Click the **Workstatus** icon from the taskbar.  After clicking , the Workstatus icon appears in the System Tray (Hidden Icons menu).

* Click the **Show hidden icons (^)** button on the taskbar.

* Click the **Workstatus** icon to open the application.

**Tip:** Once pinned, you can open Workstatus directly from the taskbar without searching for it again.



###### Method 3: Open Workstatus from the Desktop Shortcut


**Steps:**

* Locate the **Workstatus Desktop** shortcut on your desktop.
* Double-click the **Workstatus Desktop** icon. After double-clicking, the Workstatus icon appears in the System Tray (Hidden Icons menu).

* Click the **Show hidden icons (^)** button on the taskbar.

* Click the **Workstatus** icon to open the application.

**Note:** If the desktop shortcut is not available, use **Method 1** or **Method 2** to open the application.
