Jobsite Behavior in iOS App



Step 1

Create Jobsite in Workstatus web application. Please follow the link : https://support.workstatus.io/en/article/adding-jobsite-to-workstatus-application-1aon175/

Step 2

Login in Workstatus iOS app.

Turn On your location services to Always ON.



Auto In/Out

in case of Auto Check In - timer will be auto started on the Project/Task entered in the Step 1.



Once user moved out of jobsite, timer will be auto stopped giving the notification of stop.



Reminder

in case of Reminder - User will get reminder on the set on the Project/Task entered in the Step 1.



Once user moved out of jobsite, timer will be ON and user will get reminder for stopping the timer.



Don't Start/Stop Timer

Here user can manually start/stop the timer on Workstatus mobile apps. It will capture location of jobsite to generate the report.

Note :

A) In case of iOS devices: If app is kept in background and is killed - it will not check jobsite in/out due to iOS restriction.
B) Location data enables the in-app map, Place Alerts, and location sharing with your Circle.

On your device's home screen, tap Settings.
Scroll down to and select Workstatus
Tap Location.
Tap Always, and toggle Precise Location to On.



C) Keep Push Notifications ON

On your device home screen, tap Settings.
Scroll down to and select Workstatus.
Tap Notifications.
Toggle Allow Notifications to On.
Toggle Time Sensitive Notifications to On



Additional Settings to improve performance



Wi-Fi

Keep Wi-Fi turned on, even when not connected to improve location accuracy.

Cellular Data

Allow the use of Cellular Data for Workstatus app to function properly.

Mobile Data or Data Usage

Turn off Data saver and Limit mobile data usage modes.
