# Member Time zone Settings

###### Member Timezone Settings

1. **Log in** to the application using valid credentials.

2. Navigate to **Settings**, which is available under the **Global** section.

3. Click on **Member Timezone**, located under **Members and Roles**.

4. On the **Member Timezone** page, you can enable or disable the option that allows members to change their timezone globally.
    * Select **Yes** to allow members to change their timezone.
    * Select **No** to restrict members from changing their timezone.

5. You can also configure timezone settings at the **individual member level**:
    * Select the required member(s).
    * Update the required timezone settings.
    * Click the **Save** icon to apply the changes.

6. At the individual member level, the following options are available:
    * **Members:** Select the member(s) for whom you want to configure the settings.

    * **Allow Member to Change Their Timezone:** Select **Yes** or **No** based on the requirement.

    * **Timezone Preferences:** Disable timezone preferences for members who work across different time zones. When disabled, members will not receive a timezone mismatch error if their system timezone changes. The Workstatus Tracker will continue to sync and record time correctly regardless of the timezone.

    * **Member Timezone:** The timezone is defined for each member based on their assigned shift.

7. Select the required member(s) using the **checkboxes**. A black action bar will appear, allowing you to:
    * Change the member's timezone.
    * Enable or disable timezone preferences.
    * Update the member timezone.

8. A **confirmation pop-up** will appear on the screen when you update the settings. Click **Yes** or **No** to confirm the action.

9. Once the settings are successfully updated, a **success/validation message** will appear at the bottom-right corner of the screen:
**“Timezone preference updated successfully.”**
