# Start Time Prefernce Setting


# How to change Start Time Prefernce Setting ?

The Start Time Preference setting determines the default start time for timesheets that are manually added. This feature helps standardize time entries, ensuring consistency across records. By automatically setting a predefined start time, it minimizes errors and discrepancies, leading to more accurate tracking of activity duration. This is particularly useful in environments where precise time management is crucial, as it streamlines data entry and reduces the risk of incorrect reporting.

##### Roles and Permissions:

Organization Owner/Manager:  

They can control Start Time Preference Setting.

**Step 1.** Go to settings

**Step 2.** Go to the Settings module, and under the Timesheets section, click on Start Time Preference.

**Step 3.** For overall organization setting click on start time and set your time preference.

You can also configure individual Start Time Preference settings by selecting a specific time for each member accordingly.
