Activity tracking walkthrough
Activity tracking walkthrough
Activities recorded by your team can be accessed by navigating to the Activity page from the sidebar.
Please refer following link for accessing Roles and Permission : https://support.workstatus.io/en/article/workstatus-roles-and-permissions-guide-zzkoo6/
The Activity page is divided into the following three sections:
- Screenshots – View screenshots captured during tracked work sessions.
- Apps – Review the applications used during tracked time.
- URLs – View the websites visited during tracked work sessions.
Screenshots
When you open the Screenshots page, you'll see screenshots grouped by hour and further organized into 5-, 10-, or 15-minute intervals, depending on your organization's screenshot capture settings.
You can filter the displayed screenshots using the following options:
- Calendar – Select a specific date to view screenshots captured on that day.
- Source – Filter screenshots by the application used to track time.
- Activity Level – Filter screenshots based on the recorded activity percentage.
- Time Type – Filter screenshots by time category (such as productive or idle time, where applicable).
- Project – View screenshots associated with a specific project.
- Timezone – Switch between the organization's time zone and the team member's local time zone.
- Select Member – Display screenshots for a specific team member.
On the screenshot thumbnail gallery, hover over the green Activity Bar for any time block to view the Activity Level, along with a breakdown of keyboard and mouse activity.
In the example below, the user was 76% active during the 10-minute interval from 9:15 AM to 9:30 AM.
Activity levels from 20% to 50% will be color-coded as Yellow (caution status).
Activity levels from 0% to 20% will be color-coded as Red (warning status).
Screenshot capture is not supported in the mobile app due to the security restrictions enforced by mobile operating systems.
Any time tracked using the mobile app will be displayed as No Activity on the Screenshots page instead of showing captured screenshots.
