Dashboard – Me View


Me-Dashboard


  1. Open the URL: https://app.workstatus.io
  2. Log in to your Workstatus account using your credentials.
  3. As soon as you log in successfully, you are redirected to the Dashboard page automatically.
  4. Click on profile icon on the top right corner of the dashboard.





Roles and Permissions:


Note: In order to see the updated changes on the screen, Please click on the refresh icon.


Organization Owner/Manager :

  • Can view the Organization on the dashboard
  • Gets a complete overview of the organization



Delivery Head :

  • They Can view only “My Teams” on the dashboard.
  • They Can see data related to their own teams only

User

  • Every user can see only their own data



Average Working Hours


  • Average Working Hours shows the average time a user actively works in the system.
  • Effective Time is the total duration during which a user is actively present in the system, excluding idle and away time.
  • Productive Time is the total duration of effective time spent only on productive apps and URLs.
  • Green arrows indicate an increase compared to yesterday, while red arrows indicate a decrease.


Average Productivity


  • Productivity (%): Represents the percentage of time spent on productive Apps and URLs.
  • Activity (%): Indicates the time when the user is actively working on the system (keyboard/mouse interaction).
  • Idle (%): Shows the time when the system is on but no user activity is detected (keyboard/mouse interaction).
  • Away (%): Reflects the time when the user is on break.
  • Green arrows indicate an increase compared to yesterday, while red arrows indicate a decrease.


Total Task


The Total Tasks widget shows task counts based on the status configuration done in

Project Settings → Manage Status.


  • Not Started: Tasks with statuses mapped under Not Started.
  • Active: Tasks with statuses mapped under Active.
  • Done: Tasks with statuses mapped under Done.
  • Closed: Tasks with statuses mapped under Closed.


Weekly Pattern


The Weekly Pattern widget shows on which days of the week leaves were taken in the current year.


  • Displays leave data for Monday to Sunday.
  • Shows the pattern of leave taken on each day.
  • Data is calculated for the current year only.



Leave Balance


The Leave Balance widget shows the remaining and total leave balance for a user.


  • Different leave types (example: Sick Leave, Casual Leave, Privileged Leave, Comp Offs, Leave Without Pay)
  • Used leaves vs total allotted leaves.
  • Balance updates automatically when leave is applied or approved.
  • Leave balance depends on the organization’s leave policy.


Timeline View


This screen shows the complete tracked activity for the entire day. It includes details of Manual entries, Idle time, Activities, and Breaks, which are displayed in the footer. Users can view the data by applying Member and Date Range filters.


Effective Time

Shows the total productive working time of the logged-in user, including:

  • In App Time – Time spent actively working in applications
  • Manual Time – Time added manually by the logged-in user
  • Productive Pause – Short productive breaks
  • Over Time – Extra time worked beyond regular hours


Inactive Time

Shows non-working time for the logged-in user, including:

  • Healthy Pause – Approved or healthy breaks
  • Idle Time – Time with no activity detected






Productive Apps/URLs


  • It shows the productive Apps/URLs used by the user.
  • Right 2 columns captures the apps used and left 2 columns captures URLs used.


Unproductive Apps/URLs


  • It shows the Unproductive Apps/URLs used by the user.
  • Right 2 columns captures the apps used and left 2 columns captures URLs used.



Neutral Apps/URLs


  • It shows the Neutral Apps/URLs used by the user.
  • Right 2 columns captures the apps used and left 2 columns captures URLs used.


Categories


  • The Categories widget shows time spent across different Apps & URLs categories.
  • Each category is displayed with a unique colour, where the bar length represents time spent.
  • From drop down we can check separately how many apps & URLs only used.
  • On hovering over the bars we check check the categories of apps & URLs.






Attendance Data


The Attendance Data feature helps track member attendance, making it easy to validate presence and leave trends.


  • Attendance status is shown using colors:
  • Week Off – Light Grey
  • Paid Leave – Light Red
  • Unpaid Leave – Light Yellow
  • Absent – Light Purple
  • Hover on any date to see details (Leave type, Absent, Week Off)
  • If today is a working day and the member has not logged in yet, it shows “Not in yet”
  • Data is shown member-wise.
  • Filters available: Monthly, Weekly, Custom date range.
  • Changing the filter automatically updates the attendance data.

Activity Graph


  • The Activity Graph shows the daily activity percentage of the logged-in user over time.
  • The Y-axis represents Activity %, indicating how much of the day the user was active.
  • The X-axis shows the date.
  • Hovering on any point displays the exact activity % for that day.
  • The graph updates automatically to reflect the latest tracked activity.
  • Data is shown member-wise.
  • Filters available: Monthly, Weekly, Custom date range.
  • Changing the filter automatically updates the Activity %.




Recent Screenshots



The Recent Screenshots widget provides a quick visual overview of user activity by displaying the most recently captured screenshots for the selected time period. It helps monitor recent work activity


  • For Today, the widget displays the last 6 screenshots
  • For Weekly, Monthly, and Custom date range, the widget displays the last 12 screenshots
  • Screenshots are shown for users who were last active during the selected period
  • Each screenshot includes the time range and activity percentage
  • Screenshots are displayed in latest-to-oldest order
  • Clicking View All Screenshots redirects to Activity → Screenshots for a detailed view
  • Data updates automatically based on tracked activity.

Recent Projects


The Recent Projects widget shows the projects a user has worked on recently along with the total time spent on each project. It helps understand how working time is distributed across projects.



  • Displays a list of recently worked projects.
  • Shows the time spent on each project.
  • A circular chart visualizes time distribution across projects.
  • The center of the chart shows the total tracked time.
  • Projects are listed with color indicators matching the chart.
  • Clicking View Projects redirects to the Projects page for detailed information.







Recent Timesheets.


  • It shows the latest time entries recorded by members.
  • Each entry includes member name, project name, date, start time, stop time, and total duration.
  • This helps users quickly monitor recent work activity.
  • Click on the **View Timesheet ** button to navigate to Timesheet module.






Recent Tasks



The Recent Tasks widget helps users track tasks based on their due dates and completion status. Tasks are grouped into Upcoming, Overdue, and Completed categories to make task tracking easy and clear.

  • The Recent Tasks widget displays the latest 5 tasks.
  • Date filters are not applied in the Recent Tasks widget.
  • When the user clicks on View More, they are redirected to the Everything List View, where the same user filter remains applied.

Upcoming Tasks

  • Shows tasks with current or future due dates
  • Due dates like Today and Tomorrow are shown in green color
  • Future due dates are displayed as a date





Overdue Tasks

  • Shows tasks whose due date has passed
  • Due dates like Today and Yesterday are shown in red color
  • Past due dates are displayed as a date






Completed Tasks

  • Shows tasks that are marked as completed.
  • Displays only the completion date.
  • The date shown is the actual day the task was completed.




Comments Mentioning Me



  • Displays comments where an employee is mentioned in a task.
  • Shows who mentioned the person along with the comment details.
  • Displays the exact date and time of the mention.





  • On hovering for one second on a comment, the full comment is shown.




Widgets Filter


The Widgets Filter allows users to customize their dashboard by selecting which widgets should be visible.

  1. Click on the Widgets Filter option from the dashboard.
  2. A list of available widgets is displayed.
  3. Select the checkbox to enable a widget on the dashboard.
  4. Unselect the checkbox to disable a widget from the dashboard.
  5. The dashboard updates automatically based on the selected widgets.




Date Filter


  • The Date Filter allows users to view dashboard data based on a selected time period.
  • By default, the date filter is set to Today when the user opens the dashboard.
  • Click on the Date Filter dropdown on the dashboard.
  • Today – Displays data for the current day.
  • Weekly – Displays data for the current week.
  • Monthly – Displays data for the current month.
  • Date Range – Allows users to select a custom start and end date.
