Dashboard(All)


  1. Open the URL: https://app.workstatus.io
  2. Log in to your Workstatus account using your credentials.
  3. As soon as you log in successfully, you are redirected to the Dashboard page automatically.


Roles and Permissions:


Note: In order to see the updated changes on the screen, Please click on the refresh icon.


Organization Owner/Manager :

  • They can View Organization on the dashboard.

Delivery Head :

  • They can view only My Teams on the dashboard.

Team Lead(User):

  • They can view only My Teams on the dashboard.



Average Working Hours


  • Average Working Hours shows the average time a user actively works in the system.
  • Effective Time is the total duration during which a user is actively present in the system, excluding idle and away time.
  • Productive Time is the total duration of effective time spent only on productive apps and URLs.
  • Green arrows indicate an increase compared to yesterday, while red arrows indicate a decrease.


Average Productivity


  • Productivity (%): Represents the percentage of time spent on productive Apps and URLs.
  • Activity (%): Indicates the time when the user is actively working on the system (keyboard/mouse interaction).
  • Idle (%): Shows the time when the system is on but no user activity is detected (keyboard/mouse interaction).
  • Away (%): Reflects the time when the user is on break.
  • Green arrows indicate an increase compared to yesterday, while red arrows indicate a decrease.




Projects Profit & Loss


  • Profit / Loss :  The difference between the revenue and the cost of the project.
  • This value can be positive (profit) or negative (loss) depending on whether the revenue is higher or lower than the project cost.
  • Hrs Usage :  Total hours spent on the projects.
  • Margin % :  It shows that .
  • The arrow colour and direction indicate project profitability—green upward for profit  and red downward for loss.


Invoice Status


  • Paid :  Total amount of paid invoices, also shows the total numbers of the invoices.
  • Pending :  Total amount of pending invoices.
  • Overdue : Total amount of overdue invoices.
  • Currency shows is the base currency of the organisation.





Projects Worked


  • The widget displays the total number of projects at the centre of the donut chart, with projects categorized according to their current status.
  • Each status is represented by a distinct color, along with the corresponding project count displayed beside the status name. The chart provides a clear visual summary of project distribution across different statuses.
  • Users can click View All Projects to navigate directly to the project listing page for detailed information.




Tasks Status


  • The Task Status widget appears on the dashboard and shows the total number of tasks in the center of the donut chart.
  • Tasks are grouped by their current status, each shown with a distinct colour and the task count displayed next to it.
  • The widget also highlights tasks that are Due Tomorrow and Overdue for quick visibility.
  • The chart provides a clear visual summary, and clicking View All Tasks redirects to the Everything.




Top Profitable Projects


  • The Top Profitable Projects widget is displayed on the dashboard.
  • It shows the top five projects based on the total profit earned.
  • Each project is represented by a blue horizontal bar.
  • The length of the bar represents the total profit amount for the project.
  • The profit value (in base currency of the organisation) is displayed on the bar.
  • Users can click on View All to navigate to the project listing page






Least Profitable Projects


  • The Least Profitable Projects widget is displayed on the dashboard.
  • It shows the least five projects based on the total loss.
  • Each project is represented by a red horizontal bar.
  • The length of the bar represents the total loss amount for the project.
  • The Loss value (in base currency of the organisation) is displayed on the bar.
  • Users can click on View All to navigate to the project listing page




Members

  • It shows the total members with their real-time online/offline status, availability breakdown, and platform-wise distribution, along with a donut chart.
  • Members are categorised as Online or Offline, showing real-time availability.
  • Offline members are further classified into Leave and Not Working, while online members are divided into On Remote and In Office.
  • The widget shows the number of members using different platforms such as Windows, Linux, Web, Android, iOS, and macOS.
  • A donut chart visually represents the distribution of members, making it easy to compare overall member status at a glance.
  • The View All Members option allows users to navigate to the complete member list.





Upcoming Milestone


Milestone Details

This widget displays a list of all upcoming milestones along with their names under Milestone Details.

Projects

Each milestone is mapped to its respective Project.

Progress

The Progress column shows the number of tasks completed versus total tasks (e.g., 12/21 Completed), clearly indicating milestone completion status.

Progress bar Indicator

A progress bar and percentage value visually represent how much of the milestone has been completed showing in purple colour.

Time Estimated and Invested

For each milestone, Estimated Hours indicate the planned Hrs, while Invested Hours show the actual Hrs spent so far.


Note
  • Milestone only visible in the upcoming milestone when the project has at least a task.



Profit & Loss


  • Profit & Loss widgets provides a visual representation of the organization’s profit and loss over time, based on the selected date filter.
  • Users can view profit and loss data on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, on the basis by selecting the appropriate option from the date filter available at the top-right corner of the widget.
  • The graph is plotted with reference to a zero (0) baseline:
  • Profit values are displayed above the zero line in green.
  • Loss values are displayed below the zero line in red.
  • Hovering over any data point on the graph displays a tooltip showing the corresponding date range and amount in base currency.
  • The X-axis represents the selected date range.
  • The Y-axis represents the amount, with divisions adjusted dynamically based on the data range.
  • All values are displayed in the organization’s base currency. If any calculations involve other currencies, currency conversion is applied before displaying the final amounts in the base currency.







Budget Trend


  • This widget provides a visual comparison of the budgeted amount and the actual invested amount over a selected time period (weekly, monthly, or quarterly).
  • The X-axis represents the time intervals, while the Y-axis shows the budget values .
  • The purple bars indicate the planned budget, the green bars show the actual spending, and the red dotted line represents the overall budget trend.
  • All values are displayed in the organisation's base currency. This helps users monitor budget utilization and understand spending patterns over time.
  • For viewing Budget Trends of Weekly,Monthly,Quarterly,click on dropdown.







Productive Apps/URLs


  • It shows the productive Apps/URLs used by the user.
  • Right 2 columns captures the apps used and left 2 columns captures URLs used.


Unproductive Apps/URLs


  • It shows the Unproductive Apps/URLs used by the user.
  • Right 2 columns captures the apps used and left 2 columns captures URLs used.



Neutral Apps/URLs


  • It shows the Neutral Apps/URLs used by the user.
  • Right 2 columns captures the apps used and left 2 columns captures URLs used.



Categories


  • The Categories widget shows time spent across different Apps & URLs categories.
  • Each category is displayed with a unique colour, where the bar length represents time spent.
  • From drop down we can check separately how many apps & URLs only used.
  • On hovering over the bars we check check the categories of apps & URLs.





Recent Timesheets.


  • It shows the latest time entries recorded by members.
  • Each entry includes member name, project name, date, start time, stop time, and total duration.
  • This helps users quickly monitor recent work activity.
  • When we click on View Timesheets to navigate to the Reports>>Time & Activity page.


Attendance Data


  • It shows member-wise attendance in a tabular format.
  • Each row represents a member, and each column represents a date.
  • The attendance status for each day is displayed, such as Absent, Week Off (W-Off), Paid Leave, or Unpaid Leave.
  • Different colors are used to easily identify attendance statuses.
  • Users can click Load More to view additional members.
  • This widget helps users quickly track daily attendance patterns across the organization.



Highest % Of Manual & Mobile Time


  • It shows members with the highest percentage of manually added and mobile-tracked time.
  • Each member is represented by a horizontal bar.
  • The bar is divided to indicate manual time and mobile time using different colors.
  • The percentage value is displayed on the right side of each bar.
  • This widget helps identify members with higher reliance on manual or mobile time entries.




Tracked Most Hours


  • It shows the members who have logged the highest working hours.
  • Each member is represented with a horizontal progress bar.
  • The bar length indicates the total hours tracked by the member.
  • The exact total time is displayed on the right side of each bar.
  • Colours indicates the Timesheet Activity percentage if Activity % <=30 shows Red ,Activity %<=60 shows yellow colour and Activity %>60 shows green.
  • Users can click **View more **redirects to reports>>Time & Activity.



Tracked Least Hours


  • It shows the members who have logged the Least working hours.
  • Each member is represented with a horizontal progress bar.
  • The bar length indicates the total hours tracked by the member.
  • The exact total time is displayed on the right side of each bar.
  • Colours indicates the Timesheet Activity percentage if Activity % <=30 shows Red.
  • Users can click **View more **redirects to reports>>Time & Activity.





Custom Dashboard


  • Click on dropdown of dashboard.
  • Give a proper name of your dropdown.
  • Click on Add New.
  • You are landed on your custom dashboard.




  • The Custom Dashboard displays applied filters such as members, date range, and working hours.
  • We can customise our widgets according to us and click on **update view **to see the changes.
  • All saved customisation are immediately applied and visible on the Custom Dashboard




Refresh Button

  • When a user logs in to the Work Status page, the page automatically refreshes to load the latest data.
  • Users can manually refresh the page at any time using the Refresh button.
  • After each successful refresh, the system displays a timestamp.
  • If the user remains on the page, the system will automatically refresh every 12 hours to keep the data up to date.
  • All refresh actions retain the current page state.





Auto Refresh

  • Automatically refresh this dashboard at regular intervals to show the latest data.->Auto Refresh
  • We have manually refresh the when auto refresh off -> When off


Member Filter

  • The Member filter allows users to view data based on Departments, Teams, or Individual Members.
  • By default, All Members is selected, displaying data for all users.
  • Users can switch between Departments, Teams, and Members using the tabs in the filter dropdown.
  • A search option is available to quickly find a specific department, team, or member.
  • Selecting an option updates the dashboard data instantly based on the chosen filter.
  • The applied filter remains active until it is changed or cleared by the user.











Widgets Filter


The Widgets Filter allows users to customise their dashboard by selecting which widgets should be visible.

  • Click on the Widgets Filter option from the dashboard.
  • A list of available widgets is displayed.
  • Select the checkbox to enable a widget on the dashboard.
  • Unselect the checkbox to disable a widget from the dashboard.
  • The dashboard updates automatically based on the selected widgets.




Date Filter


  • The Date Filter allows users to view dashboard data based on a selected time period.
  • By default, the date filter is set to Today when the user opens the dashboard.
  • Click on the Date Filter dropdown on the dashboard.
  • Today – Displays data for the current day.
  • Weekly – Displays data for the current week.
  • Monthly – Displays data for the current month.
  • Date Range – Allows users to select a custom start and end date.
