Copy Project allows you to duplicate an existing project, including its users, milestones, tasks, message boards, bill rate, and pay rate, ensuring consistency and saving setup time. You can either copy everything or customize what to include, depending on your project needs.

  • Step 1: Navigate to Projects and Click on the ' three dots' of the project that you want to copy and then click on copy project.

  • Step 2: After click on Copy Project a dialogue box will appear containing, 'Project Name' , 'Everything' and 'Customize'. By default Project name and Everything (meaning all project components like users, milestones, tasks, message board, bill rate, and pay rate will be copied) is same but we can change or edit project name and then click on 'Save Button'.

  • Step 3: Same for the Customize – first click on the Customize, and you can be disabled any project details or toggles that you don’t want to copy and then click on 'save button'

  • Step 4: After selecting either 'Everything' or 'Customize' and clicking the 'Save' button, the copied project appears just below the project it was copied from .

Note : If we select 'Everything', everything from the project gets copied under the 'Everything' option (All project users, milestones, tasks, message board, bill rate, pay rate will be duplicated). However, if any toggle is disabled, that specific item will not appear in the Copied Project.
