How 'Group by' works in Everything?
In the Everything module, the 'Group by' feature organizes all visible tasks into categories based on a selected attribute (e.g., project, assignee, status, priority).
This makes it easier to quickly sort, compare, and analyze tasks without changing the underlying data.
Roles and Permissions:
Owner/Manager/Delivery Head: They can view and perform actions on every task of every project.
Team Lead (User): They can view tasks of their assigned projects and perform action on assigned tasks only.
Department Head (User): They can view tasks of their assigned projects and perform action on assigned tasks only.
Project Manager (User): They can view tasks of their assigned projects and perform action on them.
User role: They can view tasks of their assigned projects and perform action on assigned task only.

Group by:
- Status: It arranges all tasks into sections based on their current workflow stage.
For example, when you group by Status in the Everything module, tasks will be separated into sections like Yet to Start, In Progress, Completed, etc.
- Assignee: In the Everything module, when you group by Assignee, each section will display tasks assigned to a specific project member.
- Priority: It arranges tasks into sections based on their urgency or importance level.
In the Everything module, when you group by Priority, tasks might be separated into categories like High, Medium, or Low.
- Due: It organizes tasks based on when they are supposed to be completed.
In the Everything module, grouping by Due Date typically separates tasks into time-based sections such as Overdue, and Due. Tasks which has no start or end date are shown under Due Tasks.
- Billing: In the Everything module, grouping by Billing will typically show two main sections: Billable and Non-Billable.
- Milestone: It organizes tasks based on the key project milestones they contribute to.
In the Everything module, when grouped by Milestones, tasks are sorted into sections named after important project phases or goals.
- Tag: It organizes tasks based on labels or tags assigned to them for easier categorization.
In the Everything module, grouping by Tag sorts tasks into sections named after each tag, such as Urgent, Client A, Backend, or Bug.
- Task Type: organizes tasks based on their category or nature of work.
In the Everything module, grouping by Task Type sorts tasks into sections like Bug or Enhancement.
- Also Group by List: This option lets you add a second level of grouping. First, you can group tasks by Status, Assignee, Priority, Due Date, Billing, Tag, Task Type, Project, or Client, and then within each group, tasks are further divided by their task lists.
Note: Milestones are the only exception, as they cannot be combined with task lists.
