Installation Guide on Mac App (macOS) in Stealth/Silent mode

1. Step 1: Download Files
   Download the Workstatus App and the setup file according to your macOS.

• For Intel-based Mac users : Mac Intel App
• For M1-based Mac users: Mac M1 App : Mac M1 App
• The setup file is compatible with both Intel-based and M1 Macs. Please follow the steps below to install the application: Setup File

2. Step 2: Organize Files

• Create a new folder.
• Paste both the App and the setup file into this folder.
• Make a .txt file with name user_token_file
• go Workstatus Web app >> People>> Employee >> against the user name on which PC we have to run stealth app- click on 3 dots >> click on Copy stealth token
• now copy this Token into the user_token_file and save.

3. Step 3: Open Terminal in Folder

• Navigate to the folder where the files are stored.
• Open Terminal from this directory path.

4. Step 4: Run Installat
   Execute the following commands one by one in the Terminal:

• source user_token_file.txt ( Creates and saves stealth token (skip if already created))
• chmod +x Workstatus ( Makes the app executable )
• source setup.sh ( Runs the setup script )
• restart system  ( Starts the app in stealth mode )

5. Step 5: Grant Security Permissions

• General Access
• Go to System Settings > Security & Privacy > General
• Click Allow to grant permission for the app to run.

• Full Disk Access
• Go to System Settings > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Full Disk Access
• Remove the previous Workstatus (if present).
• Add the new Workstatus app.

• Screen Recording
• Go to System Settings > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Screen Recording
• Remove the previous Workstatus.
• Add the new Workstatus app.

• Accessibility
• Go to System Settings > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility
• Remove the previous Workstatus.
• Add the new Workstatus app.

• Step 6: Final Step
• Restart your system to apply all changes.
