Menu options in Everything

In the Everything menu of Workstatus, you get a set of powerful options to manage and organize your custom views effectively. You can pin frequently used views for quick access, set views as private to restrict visibility, or mark them as protected to prevent unwanted changes. Additionally, you can copy a shareable link to the view, duplicate it for reuse, delete any unnecessary views, and save updates to maintain consistency. These tools help streamline your workflow and ensure each view fits your specific tracking and reporting needs.

How to navigate to Menu options in Everything Views?

  • Step 1: Go to 'Everything' menu.
  • Step 2: Select view, right-click on that to open menu options.

The Everything View's menu offers the following features:

Pin View: User can pin frequently used views for quick access by enabling the toggle. Pinned view will be shifted on the first position.

Private View: User can enable the Private View toggle to restrict its visibility with other users of the organisation.

Protected View: User can enable the Protected View toggle to prevent unwanted changes in that view. It prevents others from making changes to the view’s configuration—such as filters, grouping, or sorting. It ensures that the view remains consistent and untouched, making it ideal for shared views that need to maintain a fixed structure for accurate tracking and reporting.

Copy link to View: It allows you to generate a direct link to the specific view you've created in the Everything menu. You can share this link with teammates to quickly give them access to the same filtered or customized view, ensuring consistent visibility and collaboration across the team.

Duplicate View: Duplicate view creates an exact copy of the selected view, including all filters, sorting, and layout settings. It’s useful when you want to create a similar view without starting from scratch, allowing quick adjustments while preserving the original.

Rename: It allows you to change the title of any view to better reflect its purpose or contents.

Set as Default View: This lets you make a specific view the default one that opens automatically when you access the Everything menu.

Delete View: Delete view allows you to permanently remove a view from the Everything menu.

Save View: Save View lets you save any changes made to your current view’s filters, sorting, or layout. This ensures your customized settings are preserved for future use, helping you maintain a consistent and personalized workspace.
