Password Reset, Change Password, and Wrong Password


If you wish to change your password, you can do so directly from your profile page.


If you have forgotten your password, you may go through the Forgot your password? process to reset it.


If you enter an incorrect password while logging in, an error message will be displayed. The password field will be highlighted to indicate the error.

Note: At least 1 special character is required to create password for login.(Max 100 characters)


Change Password :


  • STEP 1


Click on  : Profile dropdown, then click on Profile.



  • STEP 2


Navigate to Credentials widget, click on Edit Details.




  • STEP 3


Type in your current password, then choose a new password, confirm it again and then click Save.




The password shall thus be changed successfully.

Reset Password :


If, for any reason, you don’t have access to your Workstatus account, simply go to https://app.workstatus.io/auth/login

The steps on how to Reset your current password are as follows:


  • STEP 1


Click the Forgot password? link that’s right underneath the sign in form.



  • STEP 2


Type your Workstatus email address , then click the Send reset link button so we can send instructions on how to change your password.







  • STEP 3


When you receive the email, click on the Reset Password button.



  • STEP 4


You will be directed to a page to reset your password. Enter the email, new password and confirm password and click Reset Password.


  • STEP 5


 Forgot Password – Reset Limit :


You can request a password reset email up to 3 times within 1 hour.

If you exceed this limit:

  • A restriction message will be shown.
  • No further reset emails will be sent.

After 1 hour, you can request the password reset email again.





Wrong Password :


If an incorrect password is entered while logging in, Workstatus applies additional security checks to protect your account.


  • Enter your Email and Password, then click Login.



  • If the password is wrong, an error message appears:

“Please enter correct password.”



  • After a wrong attempt, the Password field turns red and a Security Code (Captcha) is displayed.



  • Enter the captcha — the Login button remains disabled until captcha is filled.




  • You can attempt a wrong password up to 3 times within 1 hour.
  • After 3 failed attempts, a restricted message is shown and login is temporarily blocked.
  • You can try logging in again after 1 hour using the correct password.




Important:


  • Captcha is mandatory after a wrong password attempt.
  • Login will not proceed without entering the captcha.
  • Once restricted, access is restored automatically after 1 hour.
