Web Tracker - Face Verification
Web Tracker - Face Verification
Workstatus now offers a web timer built-in right into the web that can be used without downloading or installing anything.
This is useful when users don’t have a desktop computer to track time, or when users have access to a computer but are unable to install the app (for example, if they’re working at a public library, or at an administrator-managed device).
The web tracker is a great way to easily track time right from the website. However, if you wish to have the full set of features that we offer (screenshots, activity percentages, URL and App tracking), you need to install our dedicated desktop app.
Web Tracker – Face Verification ensures identity authentication by capturing and verifying the user’s face during web-based time tracking, enhancing accuracy and preventing proxy logins.
To ensure identity authentication and verify user's face, we have to follow the mentioned steps:
Step 1: Go to Profile > Change picture > Upload user's close up images (can upload upto 5 similar images for better functioning).

Step 2: Go to Settings > Jobsites > Face Detection > Enable check-box for Web Tracker. Also, we can update allowed matching percentage of image.

Step 3: Go to Web Tracker > Select Project > Select Task > Start Timer.
Step 4: Here, a dialog box appears asking for "Face Verification". Manage your face at the centre of the circle > Click on "Capture". Also, you can use Zoom In/Out to adjust focus on your face. If your face matched with your profile image, tracker will start. Otherwise, it will ask to "Retake" the image.
Step 5: To stop tracker, again user need to verify his picture for successful start and stop time through web tracker.
