How to disable Wayland in Linux

To ensure that Workstatus is able to capture screenshots of your screen, you will need to grant our app access.

Please follow the steps below to do that:

Give Workstatus screen capture permissions :

1. open terminal >>Enter command : sudo nano /etc/gdm3/custom.conf

2. change #waylandEnable=false to waylandEnable=false (i.e remove #, hashtag)

3. Press key Ctrl + O then Press enter & then press Ctrl + X

4. Restart the system
