How to Install Workstatus Mac App in Stealth/Silent mode.
This document provides step-by-step instructions to install the Workstatus Stealth App on macOS (Apple Silicon).
Supported macOS
- Apple Silicon (Metal) macOS version 14 and above
Note :
- If the user has already installed the Visible Mode app, please uninstall it first.
- If the user’s account setting is in Visible Mode but they are using the Stealth Mode app, the app will, by default, run in Stealth Mode. To change this, update the setting through Tracking Mode Settings.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Download the App
For Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) → Download the Metal version of the Workstatus App: Mac Metal App
Step 2: Prepare the App
- Open Terminal.
- Create a user token file in the same location where the downloaded file is stored by running following command : touch user_token_file.txt
- Pest User token into this file
Step 3: Launch the App
- Double-click the Workstatus app.
A.Permission popup will appear. Click on Done.
- Go to System Preferences → Privacy & Security.
- Click “Open Anyway” in front of Workstatus.
- Another confirmation popup may appear → Click “Open Anyway” again.
- If Asking Administration Permission then grand permission.
- Are you sure you want to open Workstatus?' popup will be displayed. Click on Open.
Step 4: Grant Required Permissions
Go to System Preferences → General → Login Items & Extensions → Open at Login → if Workstatus is not add then Add Workstatus
- Go to System Preferences → Privacy & Security and allow Workstatus access to the following:
1. Accessibility
- Press Command + Shift + G → enter path to Workstatus → Add Workstatus.
Note: Here, ‘test’ refers to the user’s system name.
2. Automation
- Press Command + Shift + G → enter path to Workstatus → Add Workstatus.
Note: Here, ‘test’ refers to the user’s system name.
3. Input Monitoring
- Press Command + Shift + G → enter path to Workstatus → Add Workstatus.
Note: Here, ‘test’ refers to the user’s system name.
4. Screen Recording
- Press Command + Shift + G → enter path to Workstatus → Add Workstatus.
Note: Here, ‘test’ refers to the user’s system name.
Step 6: Restart System
Restart your Mac to apply the changes.
