- On the user's Windows system, open PowerShell.
Step 2: Run the Command
Copy and run the following command in PowerShell:
- powershell -Command "Get-CimInstance Win32_ComputerSystemProduct | Select-Object -ExpandProperty UUID"

Troubleshooting
Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
Save icon is greyed out | Enter a Machine ID in the field first. The icon is active only when the field has a value. |
Machine isn't linked after installation | Confirm the Machine ID matches the Mac exactly, with no extra spaces or typos, and that it is saved under the right member. |
Member is missing from the list | Add the member under Members & Roles first, then return to this page. |
Import fails | Use the downloaded sample file and keep its column layout unchanged. |
