How to split timesheet
Split Timesheet
The Split Timesheet feature allows a user to divide an existing timesheet entry into multiple segments. This is useful when a user’s work during a logged time period needs to be categorized under different tasks, projects, or activities.
For example:
- If a user worked from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (3 hours) but spent 2 hours on Project A and 1 hour on Project B, the single timesheet can be split into two separate entries.
- After splitting, the system maintains accuracy in reporting, billing, and payroll by correctly allocating time to each project.
Roles and Permissions:
Organization Owner/Manager :
- They can provide members with access to split the timesheet.
