Impact of Finance Setting


This setting is created to allow project managers that they can see the financial data or No
.
A) If Enabled then the Project managers will be able to see the financial data of the project.


B) If Disabled then the Project managers will not be able to see the financial data of the project.


Once enabled Project Manager will be able to see the financials in following screens:



  • Project listing page - Show budget in Cost ( If budget is set in cost ).
  • Edit Project - Show all the bill rates and pay rates, budget cost ( If set in cost ) & Project per hour rate set.
  • Create Milestone - He can create and edit milestones with milestone budget type as Cost and hours both.
  • Budget overview widget in Project overview - he would be able to see all 4 parameters :
    A) Hours ( By default )


  • Budgeted Hours of Project
  • Invested Hours of Project



B) Cost

  • Budgeted Cost of Project
  • Invested Cost of Project



Disable
Once disabled then the user will not be able to see any cost related details of the project.



  • Project Listing page - Show the budget in hours even set in cost
  • Edit Project - While editing project He would not be able to see the bill rates, payrates, budget cost ( If set in cost ) those details will be shown as masked
  • Project Per hour rate - He can see the project per hour rate
  • Milestones - While creating or editing , he will be having only hours option in the milestone budget dropdown
  • Budget overview widget in Project overview - he would be able to see only 2 parameters
        • Budgeted Hours
        • Invested Hours
