Screenshot Notifications

Stop showing app notifications for taking screenshots.

STEP 1

Click on the Settings tab on the left sidebar, then select Features.

STEP 2

Select the Activity tab, then click the Screenshot Notifications option.

If you want to enable each team member with the ability to stop showing app notifications for taking screenshots, then you can set the default to “enable” to enable this setting for everyone in the organization.

Similarly, if you do not want to allow anyone, you can set the default to ‘disable’.

Screenshots Blur

Workstatus allows organization owners to add a blur to screenshots to prevent the collection of private data. Once this feature is enabled, the Desktop app will blur the captured screenshots. The blurring is applied on the device where the app is running, so the images that are uploaded to server already have the blur effect applied.

STEP 1

Click on the Settings tab on the left sidebar, then select Features.

STEP 2

Select the Activity tab, then click the Screenshots Blur option.

From there, you can toggle the default setting to apply it to your entire organization. You can also enable or disable the blur setting for individual users.

Here is how the thumbnails will appear on the Activity page if the blur setting is turned on:

STEP 2

Select the Activity tab, then click the Screenshots Frequency option.

Then you can select between none, 1x, 2x, and 3x frequencies of screenshots that you want the application to take for every 10-minute period by default.

STEP 3
You can also adjust the Screenshot frequency for each team member.

Delete Screenshots

Deleting screenshots is possible. You can delete individual screenshots, remove multiple images at once, or delete an entire day’s worth of screenshots.

STEP 1

Click on the Settings tab on the left sidebar, then select Features.

STEP 2

Select the Activity tab, then click the Delete Screenshots option.

STEP 3

Hover over the screenshot you wish to remove and click the Delete screenshot thumbnail icon as shown in this image:

STEP 4

Click OK to confirm the deletion.

OPTIONAL:

If you want to enable the Modify setting for specific members only, you can set the default to disable and enable the setting for certain members such as Managers and Owners.
