How to Integrate Twilio with Workstatus?

They can integrate Twilio with Workstatus.

Login as Organization Owner/Manager.

STEP 1

First, please select Settings from the main navigation menu. Then, click on Import Apps (2) >> Add Import (3).

Select Twilio from the list below .

Instructions for obtaining your Twilio SID , Twilio Auth Token & Twilio Whatsapp Number

1. Twilio SID

Log in to your Twilio account to access the Console. In the main dashboard page you can see the Account SID assigned to your account. This is important, as it identifies your account.
Because we are going to need the Account SID later, click the Copy to Clipboard button on the right side.

2. Twilio Auth Token

Log in to Twilio, Go to the Twilio Console and log in with your credentials.
Once logged in, you will be directed to the main dashboard.
Here, you can find your Auth Token along with your Account SID. These are your Twilio credentials, which allow you to access your Twilio account and use the API.
The Auth Token is a secret key that should never be shared because anyone with both the Account SID and Auth Token will have full access to your Twilio account.

3. Twilio Whatsapp Number
Use the Twilio WhatsApp Sandbox
Twilio provides a WhatsApp sandbox that allows you to develop and test your application before moving to production. Here's how you can set it up:

Access the Sandbox: Log in to your Twilio Console
and navigate to the "Messaging" section. Click on "Try it Out" and then select "WhatsApp".
Connect Your Phone: The sandbox page will display a sandbox number and a join code. Send a WhatsApp message with the join code to the sandbox number. The code will start with "join" followed by a unique phrase.
Confirmation: After sending the message, you should receive a confirmation from Twilio indicating that your number is connected to the sandbox. You can now start sending and receiving messages through the sandbox.

Request Production Access
Once your application is ready for production, you can request a WhatsApp-approved Twilio number:
Approval Process: Request production access for your Twilio phone number. This process requires approval from WhatsApp and can take some time.
Register Your Number: Once approved, you can register your phone number through the Facebook app dashboard and submit message templates for approval.

Once your Twilio SID, Auth Token, and WhatsApp Number have been generated, enter all three into Workstatus. and click on save .

STEP 4

Manage Whatsapp Template :

Click on manage whatsapp template .

Enter Workstatus Account Verification Template ID and Workstatus Schedule Report Template ID and verify both .

When your Workstatus Account Verification Template ID and Workstatus Schedule Report Template ID are verified , You can verify your whatsapp number in your workstatus web app and also you can shedule your reports on your whatsapp number .
