Attendance Basic Report – Overview


The Attendance Basic Report in Workstatus provides a summary of employee attendance for a selected period. It gives managers, HR teams, and administrators a quick overview of employees' attendance records, helping them monitor presence, punctuality, and overall attendance without displaying advanced activity details.


  1. Navigate to the Reports section and click on Attendance Basic Report.



  1. Select the required Select By, Date Range, Member, and Group By criteria based on the data you want to generate.



  1. Click the Generate Report button to retrieve the report data.



  1. Click the Members dropdown and select members based on Departments, Teams, or Individual Members.

  1. Use the Date Filter option to filter the report by:


The Date Filter in the Attendance Basic Report allows you to view employee attendance records for a specific period. It helps managers, HR teams, and administrators monitor attendance, working hours, and employee presence based on the selected timeframe.


Weekly


Select the Weekly option to display attendance records for the current or selected week. This filter provides a summary of employees' daily attendance, including attendance status, check-in and check-out times, and total working hours for the selected week. It is useful for reviewing weekly attendance trends and ensuring attendance compliance.


Monthly


Select the Monthly option to view attendance records for the current or selected month. This filter provides a comprehensive overview of employees' attendance, including present days, absent days, working hours, late arrivals, and attendance summaries. It is commonly used for monthly attendance reviews, payroll processing, and performance analysis.


Date Range


Select the Date Range option to specify a custom From and To date. This allows you to generate the Attendance Basic Report for any desired period, making it useful for attendance audits, payroll verification, compliance checks, and custom attendance analysis.

  1. You can further refine the report by applying the following filters:



  • Attendance %



  • Average Working Hours



  • Average Away Time Hours




Filters


  1. After selecting the desired filters, click the Apply button.


The Filters option allows you to refine the Attendance Basic Report by applying specific criteria. You can filter the report by employee, team, department, manager, attendance status, shift, and the selected date range. This helps you generate a focused report to review attendance records, working hours, and employee presence for a specific group or period.



Send


  1. To share the report, click the Send button and send the report to the desired recipients.



The Send button allows you to share the Attendance Basic Report directly via email. Simply select the recipient(s), enter the required details, and send the report without downloading it. This feature is useful for sharing attendance summaries with HR teams, managers, or other authorized stakeholders.



Schedule


  1. To automate report delivery, click the Schedule Report button and configure the scheduling settings as required.


The Schedule option enables you to automate the delivery of the Attendance Basic Report. You can configure the report to be sent automatically at a predefined frequency, such as Daily, Weekly, or Monthly, to the selected recipients. This ensures that stakeholders receive regular attendance updates without manually generating the report.



Download


  1. To export the report, click the Download button and select either PDF or CSV as the download format.


The Download button allows you to export the Attendance Basic Report to your local system. Depending on your account configuration, the report can be downloaded in supported formats such as Excel or CSV. This feature is useful for attendance tracking, payroll processing, auditing, compliance reporting, and maintaining offline records.
