Billable vs Non-Billable Report
Overview
The Billable vs Non-Billable Report provides insights into how team members spend their working hours by comparing billable and non-billable time. It helps organizations monitor productivity, measure billable utilization, and evaluate performance against organizational targets.

Column Description
Column | Description |
|---|---|
All Members | Displays the member's profile name and unique ID. |
Team | Displays the team assigned to the member. |
Billable | Displays the total billable hours logged during the selected date range. |
Non-Billable | Displays the total non-billable hours logged during the selected date range. |
Billable % | Displays the billable utilization percentage, calculated as (Billable Hours ÷ Available Hours) × 100. |
Trend | Displays the weekly trend of the member's billable utilization percentage over the selected period. |
VS Target | Displays the difference between the member's actual billable utilization percentage and the organization's defined billable utilization target. |
Steps to Access the Report
- Log in to the application using valid credentials.
- Navigate to the Reports section.
- Click Billable vs Non-Billable Report.
Apply Date Range
- Click the Date Range field.
- Select the desired date range or choose a custom date range.
- Verify that the report data is updated based on the selected dates.
Apply Filters
- Click the Filters button.
- Choose the required filters to refine the report results.
Scope Filters
The Scope section allows you to filter report data based on:
- Members
- Departments
- Teams
- Use the Members filter to display data for specific members.
- Use the Projects filter to display data for selected projects.
- Use the Project Status filter to select one or more project statuses.
- Select the Show Deleted Users checkbox, if required, to include deleted users in the report.
- Click Apply Filters.
- Verify that the report is updated according to the selected filters.
Metrics Filters
The Metrics section allows you to filter report data based on the following utilization metrics:
Billable (Hours)
- Apply the Billable (Hours) filter to display users based on the total number of billable hours logged.
Non-Billable (Hours)
- Apply the Non-Billable (Hours) filter to display users based on the total number of non-billable hours logged.
Billable (%)
- Apply the Billable (%) filter to display users based on their billable utilization percentage.
Export the Report
- Click the Export button.
- Select the desired export format:
- CSV
- XLSX
- JSON
- Verify that the report is exported successfully.
Share or Schedule the Report
- Click Send Report to share the report with the required recipients.
- Click Schedule Report to configure automatic report delivery at scheduled intervals.
