If you see error "Redirect uri does not match the redirect uris of this application OAUTH_007", it means you didn't have permission to create app on clickup, which required to connect clickup with Workstatus.

Following could be the reasons

Cause

Explanation

You’re not the Workspace Owner

Only the workspace owner (not admins/members) can create custom OAuth apps in ClickUp.

Your ClickUp plan restricts app creation

On some Enterprise workspaces, the org can disable custom app creation for non-owner roles.

You’re in a shared Workspace, not your personal one

ClickUp allows app creation only in personal or owned workspaces, not ones where you’re just a member.

Steps to fix the issue

  1. Go to 🔗 [https://app.clickup.com/settings/apps]()
  2. Scroll down to the “Custom Apps” section.
  3. Click “+ Create App”.
  4. In the popup form, enter:FieldValueApp NameWorkstatus IntegrationApp DescriptionConnect Workstatus to ClickUp to import tasks and track timeRedirect URLhttps://app.workstatus.io/settings/imports/add/clickup
  5. Click Create App.
  6. After creation, you’ll see two keys:
  • Client ID
  • Client Secret
  1. Copy both and paste them into Workstatus:
  • Go to Workstatus → Settings → Import Apps → Add Import → ClickUp
  • Paste Client ID and Client Secret
  • Click Connect ClickUp
  1. Approve authorization when ClickUp prompts you.

If the Redirect URL matches, the error “OAUTH_007: Redirect uri does not match” will be gone.
