How to integrate ClickUp with Workstatus?
Organization Owner/Manage :
- They can integrate ClickUp with Workstatus.

Login as Organization Owner/Manager.
Step 1 : Navigate to settings.

Step 2 : Click on integrations.

Step 3 : Click on Clickup.

Step 4 : Enter following details
- ClickUp Client Secret Key: integration.aws.inputSecretKey
- ClickUp Client Id: Please input your Client id
- Note: If you have already authenticated Clickup previously, Please update the Redirect URL https://app.workstatus.io/settings/integration/add/clickup to avoid conflicts during integration

Step 5 : Connect with project
Click on Connect Project to link a project with Jira.

Step 6: Map ClickUp Project with Workstatus User
- Navigate to the Project Mapping section after integration.
- Select the ClickUp Project from the available list.
- Choose the Workstatus Project that you want to map with:
- You can select an existing project, OR
- Click on Create New Project to create a new one
- Once selected, all tasks from ClickUp will be synced into the chosen Workstatus project.
- Click on the Save button to complete the mapping.

- Use the Refresh option to check the current status.
- Click on the three dots to access options such as Sync, Connect, or Disconnect.
- For bulk operations, select multiple projects and connect or disconnect them at once.
Step 7: Map ClickUp User with Workstatus User
- Go to the User Mapping section.
- Select the ClickUp User that you want to map.
- Choose the corresponding Workstatus User.
- Click on the Save button to complete the mapping.

Post-Integration Behaviour – Step-by-Step
Step 1: Task creation Flow
After successful integration, when you try to create a task in Workstatus,
- You will be redirected to ClickUp to create and manage the task.
Step 2: Integration direction (one-way sync)
This integration works in a one-way sync:
Tasks created in ClickUp will automatically sync to Workstatus
Synced tasks will be visible in Workstatus
Step 3: Task management (CRUD operation)
All task operations are controlled externally:
Create → Managed in ClickUp
Read/View → Redirected to ClickUp
Update → Managed in ClickUp
Delete → Managed in ClickUp
If you try to:
View task details OR
Add/update anything from Workstatus
- You will be redirected to ClickUp
Step 4: Behaviour after disconnection
If the integration is disconnected:
All new operations will be handled directly in Workstatus
Step 5: Existing task after disconnection
For tasks created during integration:
- You cannot edit or update
- You cannot delete
- You can only mark them as complete
Same task status is in progress in ClickUp and you again Connect then complete task status will match with ClickUp task status
