How to see Latitude & Longitude of Check-In Check-Out data?

Attendance Basic and Advanced Report


Prerequisites


Before using location-based features in Workstatus, ensure the following prerequisites are met:


  • Latitude and longitude data can currently be captured only through the Workstatus mobile application.
  • Location Services (GPS) must be enabled on the employee's mobile device.
  • The required location permissions must be granted to the Workstatus mobile application.
  • The employee must perform a GPS-based action, such as Clock In, Clock Out, or Location Tracking, for the coordinates to be recorded.
  • A Jobsite must be assigned to the employee before they can use any location-based features or capture GPS coordinates.


Roles and Permissions:


Organisation Owner/Manager:
They can view reports of all members in the organisation.


Delivery Head:
These roles can view reports of all members in the organisation.


Dept Head(User):
They can view reports of self and assigned Department Members.


**Team Lead(User): **
They can view reports of self and assigned Teams Members.


**Project Manager (User): **
They can view reports of self and assigned Project Members.


**User: **
User can view reports of only themselves.


Attendance Advanced Report section lets you see Latitude & Longitude of Check-in and Check-Out of your team along with their attendance.


Below is our guide on how to see Check-in & Check-out with Lat/Long details:


  1. Navigate to the Reports section and click on Attendance Advance Report.




  1. Select the required Select By, Date Range, Member, and Group By criteria based on the data you want to generate.



  1. Click the Generate Report button to retrieve the report data.



  1. Click the Members dropdown and select members based on Departments, Teams, or Individual Members.



Date Filter in Attendance Basic Report


  1. Use the Date Filter option to filter the report by:


The Date Filter in the Attendance Basic Report allows you to view employee attendance records for a specific period. It helps managers, HR teams, and administrators monitor attendance, working hours, and employee presence based on the selected timeframe.


Weekly


Select the Weekly option to display attendance records for the current or selected week. This filter provides a summary of employees' daily attendance, including attendance status, check-in and check-out times, and total working hours for the selected week. It is useful for reviewing weekly attendance trends and ensuring attendance compliance.


Monthly


Select the Monthly option to view attendance records for the current or selected month. This filter provides a comprehensive overview of employees' attendance, including present days, absent days, working hours, late arrivals, and attendance summaries. It is commonly used for monthly attendance reviews, payroll processing, and performance analysis.


Date Range


Select the Date Range option to specify a custom From and To date. This allows you to generate the Attendance Basic Report for any desired period, making it useful for attendance audits, payroll verification, compliance checks, and custom attendance analysis.

  1. Click on the Time Logged value for the desired member.



  1. A pop-up will appear displaying the member's details along with the latitude and longitude information for their Check-In and Check-Out times.
